Patio, Deck & Fence, Outdoor surfaces restored.

Houston's gulf humidity grays wood fast. Stone patios collect mildew faster than the rest of the yard. We treat each surface for what it is — soft wash on wood, pressure on stone — so your outdoor space is ready for entertaining the same week.

Why wood and stone need different methods

A pressure-washer on cedar or pressure-treated pine fuzzes the grain — even at moderate PSI. The result is wood that looks fine wet but feels rough and uneven once dry, and absorbs new staining faster. Soft wash on wood lifts mildew without damaging the fiber, and a wood-brightener step restores the natural tone. Flagstone, travertine, brick patios, and stamped concrete each have different absorption rates and react to chemistry differently — using one method for everything is how good outdoor spaces get ruined.

How we treat each outdoor surface

Different surface, different method. We never use one tool for everything — that's how good outdoor surfaces get damaged.

STEP 01

Surface Inventory

Walk the outdoor space — identify wood (deck, pergola, fence), stone (flagstone, travertine, brick), and concrete (stamped, plain). Each gets its own method.

STEP 02

Wood — Soft Wash + Brightener

Biodegradable cleaner at low pressure on wood surfaces. Dwell, gentle rinse, then a wood-brightener pass to restore natural tone. No grain damage, no fuzzing.

STEP 03

Stone — Surface Cleaner + Hand-Detail

Industrial surface cleaner on flagstone & travertine at controlled PSI. Hand-wand on grout lines, edges, and around plant beds. Mineral treatment on iron-stained stone.

STEP 04

Final Pass

Rinse the entire space, sweep off debris, walk-through with you. Outdoor furniture is moved off and replaced as part of the service.

What you get, on every job.

  • Wood deck (cedar, pressure-treated pine, ipe, composite)
  • Wood fences (full panel + post wash)
  • Stone patios (flagstone, travertine, slate, brick)
  • Stamped concrete and plain concrete patios
  • Pergolas and outdoor structures (where accessible)
  • Wood-brightener treatment on natural-wood surfaces
  • Outdoor furniture move-off and replacement
  • Pre/post-rinse of plant beds
  • Full general liability + workers comp insurance, COI on request

Real ranges, no surprises.

Houston average for a typical residential deck or patio. Large multi-level decks, long fence runs, or combination jobs with multiple surfaces price by total square footage.

LOW$100small job, single-story
HIGH$400large or complex

What affects price

  • Surface type — wood + stone job is two methods
  • Square footage of total deck/patio area
  • Fence linear feet (separate from deck pricing)
  • Wood-brightener add-on ($50–$100, recommended for cedar & pine)
  • Sealing & staining — we partner with refinishers for the next step if needed

What people ask, straight answers.

Can you clean my wood deck without damaging it?

Yes — soft wash, never pressure wash, on natural wood. Pressure on cedar or pine fuzzes the grain. Soft wash + brightener restores the natural tone without the damage.

Will the deck need to be re-sealed after cleaning?

Cleaning resets the surface — most clients re-seal within 2–4 weeks of cleaning to lock in the restored tone. We can recommend trusted refinishers if you'd like.

Do you clean fences?

Yes — wood, vinyl, and metal. Wood fences get the same soft-wash treatment as decks. Vinyl gets a mild solution + low pressure. Wrought iron gets degreaser + rinse.

Is your method safe for my outdoor plants?

Yes — biodegradable solution, pre-rinse, post-rinse. We've never had a plant-damage claim. Tarps and misting where landscaping is dense.

Do you do pergolas and outdoor structures?

Yes — soft wash on wood pergolas, gazebos, and trellises. We work around any electrical or lighting that's installed.

Can you do a deck and fence in the same visit?

Yes — most clients bundle. Doing both at once saves a setup fee and gives you a 10% discount on the bundled total.
